Hi, this is a feature I have been asking a lot.
For us that have pay subscriptions, is really important to let users know there are sections they can´t have access, in order to let them upgrade their plans.
But as spaces are now, if I set up a space as private for a group access, the space is not visible to the users that are not in that group access.
And if I link the space in a email for example, and the person has not access, then it gives an not found error. But that's not correct, the space exist, the users just don´t have access.
The other way this is wrong is if an user with access to that space is not login, they will see an error of site not found, but the only problem is that they are not login. That's kind of confusing.
This is really important for us that have pay memberships.
- We need the private list of spaces visible, look at how circle does it:
- We need a redirect when an user try to enter a spaces they don´t have access. It should not give an error that the site does not exist, because that's not what is happening. It should let them know they don´t have access. and how to get access for it.
I love the software. But this is making really hard for me to implement it in pay communities.
