👋 Hey PeerBoard Community!
This month, we have released three of the most wanted features of all PeerBoard times! 🚀
Learn more about:
- Member mentions in posts & comments 🎉
- Our new and awesome notification panel 🎆
- Harsh words filter for post pre-moderation 🤫
- And some key improvements: fixed zooming and performance on mobile, multiple editor fixes (listed content deletion, unbolding the text, post drafts, autocorrect & backspace issues); right to left languages fix
1. Don't Forget to @ a Friend
Have you been in a discussion where you wanted to ping another community member and ended up copy-pasting the link to a thread instead? Forget that now!
To mention someone in a post or a comment, use 'at' and start typing the name of the member, e.g., @{Silva}(76908414).

Mentions are delivered both to the email and to our new notification panel right away!
This is a great way to increase member involvement. If you think that someone from the community may have an answer to a question asked in your community, tag this person!
2. View All Notifications at Once
The long-awaited internal notifications panel is live! Now all important updates such as new comments, replies, and mentions are a click away from the homepage. As new notifications appear, a red badge pops up next to this new tab entry point. Clicking it opens a full-size page with your detailed updates.
Note that you can also control precisely what notifications you receive in a post by clicking "Subscribed" button on top of the comments section of a specific post. With all of that we now have one of the best notification systems out there!
This new Notifications tab can also be used to browse your history of thread subscriptions and mentions. In the future we plan to add more notification types there to make it even more engaging.

'Watch Your Language' (or Admins will)
Our communities strive for inclusivity. At times, what some consider appropriate verbiage can come across rudely. What can we do as admins? Moderate.
If you go to Settings -> Moderation, you'll find that we have added more options to qualify posts for pre-moderation. Those include flagging words that meet the standard profanity filter and a free-form field where you can add individual keywords.

Other Improvements
- Fixed zooming and general performance on mobile.
- Multiple editor fixes, including listed content deletion, Safari autocorrect, backspace and post drafts.
- Right-to-left language issues fixed.
