In this release, we are introducing a few exciting design updates in addition to a highly requested native Shopify login for our app. Keep reading to learn more about:
- Image previews in the feed.
- Modernized admin menu.

🌟 Increase Post Engagement With Image Previews 🌟
Research says that posts with images can receive over two times more engagement than those without images. Now we can test these numbers in the communities powered by PeerBoard!
To have an image preview, simply insert an image/GIF into your post and click Save. If you have several images in your post or article, keep in mind that the first one will get displayed in the feed.

😍 Enjoy the Compact View of Controls 😍
With the updated admin menu, everything stays at hand yet has a more subtle look. The dropdown feature helps to keep the right sidebar compact and neat while accommodating all the settings.
🤩 Customize Reaction Emojis & Text 🤩
Our communities are very different, and they react differently, too. Since enabling the like list visibility, you've been able to see people behind the post and comment reactions. From now on, you can customize the reaction emoji and button text.
Go to Customization, choose Branding and find the Upvote emoji and Upvote button label to customize.
🙌 Shopify Login Made Easier 🙌
Until now, customers needed to sign up for your store's community even if they had been registered in your store. It was the only possible option before we would have introduced native Shopify login.
Now your customers' journey is easier: they sign up for your store, and we automatically sign them up for your community. To sign in to your community on their next visit, they will have to be logged into your store to be able to write posts and leave comments.
👉 If you liked the initial login logic, you can choose between the two options in the app settings. For that, go to Apps -> PeerBoard and select the optimal login option for your community.
💡 As for smaller features...
Find out when your members have joined your community in their profile page. The information is available to admins only.
