Super happy to share how I'm using Peerboard to power the Snowball community.
First of all, Snowball is a newsletter, and a community centered around the personal finance universe. It's written in french so if you know how to read french you can check it out here.
The newsletter is powered by Substack.
I was looking for a way to gather my community in some kind of virtual temple. Slack was out of the question as after using it for a long time in a different company, I found it too overwhelming for serious topics. Finding information on Slack is hard, and the flow of information can discourage a lot of people to participate.
Peerboard with its Q&A centered approach seemed like a perfect choice for me. So far, I'm super happy about my choice, and the Snowball community seem to be super happy as well!
There are currently around 500 people co-living on snowball.peerboard.com.
The community is closed as only paid subscribers can join it.
I've launched it around 4 months ago.
Can't wait to discover what the Peerboard team got in the pipe for the future.
Cheers, don't hesitate to reach out if you have questions.
