Hey Peerboarders and Peerboarders-to-be! We’re starting off a new month on the right foot and introducing some improvements as well as exciting new features for your members. Keep on reading to find out more.
Here're some great things that you can do now:
- Facilitate community automation with Zapier.
- Find posts and comments with our new search.
- Write rich posts using the new WYSIWYG editor.

- Customize your logo.
To kick off a public discussion of your book, movie, or language club: host open communities right on Peerboard for free (register before 2021!).
1. Zapier Support
Optimize the functioning of your community by connecting Peerboard to other favorite platforms and apps. With Zapier support, you can:
- get post notifications wherever you prefer
- register new members in Mailchimp
- invite or activate members, for example, from your Tilda or Webflow account
- add or invite members after a purchase in Shopify
- and do many other things!

2. Posts & Comments Search
Remember reading a good comment and trying to get back to it later by browsing through several posts? Please, don’t ever do that again. Now all you have to do is 1) go to the main page; 2) find a search field on the top; 3) start typing in or put in a relevant word to search across titles, posts, and comments. You can also look up a reply to a member by searching their name, and it's available to anyone in your community.
The query result shows both exact matches and matches in morphemes (integrations – integrated – integrating).
3. Brand-New WYSIWYG Editor!
To create beautiful content, you don't have to know any of the ins and outs of markup languages anymore. Using our what-you-see-is-what-you-get style editor, members can create rich posts without difficulty and tech support. Highlight ideas, change header styles, attach links, make outlines, or share media, it's all in your hands!

4. Social Logins
From now on, newcomers can sign up into your community with their Google, Facebook, or LinkedIn accounts. It will save time on filling up personal info and picking up a photo as well as speed up the logging process to several clicks. We still keep sharing some magic via our links though, don't pass on it :)
5. Sharing on Facebook, LinkedIn & Twitter
Want to make an announcement, invite new members, or share some great insights with your virtual friends in social networks? No need to copy a text or make screenshots now. Instead, use the buttons on the bottom right corner of the post to spread the good word with as many people as possible.
6. Logo Customization
There're a couple of reasons why you need this feature. Firstly, it makes your community stand out. Secondly, it creates a sense of belonging for the members, as the logo is displayed both on the login and main pages.
New Free Plan: Public Communities
We’re happy to introduce a new plan that fits blogs, public clubs as well as discussion boards that want to take their engagement outside their platforms and onto our website. One caveat - this is only for public (open registration) communities that live on our domain. But other than that, no major functionality limitations so you can run a great public community on PeerBoard. And, importantly, for free if you register now! Hurry up to benefit from the offer – it’s in force until the end of the year.
