As November draws to an end, we can’t wait to go into the novelties that we have kicked off during this month.
Some key features include:
- User groups and access settings.
- Better search engines support.
- Enabling custom emails for newsletters.
Smaller but as much valuable pieces are:
- Website links on the community page.
- Post & comment report.
- Unique invitation emails.
Create User Groups and Control Access
If you have a diverse community of members with different functions, interests, and subscriptions, how do you deliver the best-matching content and relevant digests to them?
That’s an easy one. All you need to do is to create groups of users and mark them by badges with custom colors. After that, assign group badges to users and categories, so when you start a new post, you will see what group members have access to the content. These badges are displayed to admins in the members’ list and posts next to an author’s or commentator’s name.
Don’t want other members to see the badges? In that case, choose to show badges to limited members or admins only. For more details, read our Access Settings and User Groups guide.

Optimize Your Search Engine Results
With support for Google SearchConsole verification and sitemaps, you can make your community known to the world by influencing your search rankings. These improvements will facilitate rapid crawling and indexing of your site pages. For private communities, sitemaps won’t expose your content to the web and will solely state the existence of the community. For step-to-step instructions, go to our Search Engine Optimization guidelines.
Send News From Your Community Email
If you choose to activate this feature, your members will receive digests and notifications from a custom email. Go to Settings
, select Email
and set your address. By replacing our from/reply-to email, we endorse the fully branded experience, and it makes your community more special.
Navigate Easily From & To Your Community
Before, a custom community wouldn’t have links to other website pages, which disrupted the smooth navigation experience. Now you can have all the vital pages up in the header for your members to find and explore your services further.
Report Comments or Posts
While all communities have specific standards to follow, some members might not read them carefully and can breach the rules. To report sensitive comments or posts, other members should 1) click on the symbol next to user name or on the top right corner of the post, 2) select Report
, and 3) specify the reason. Admins will be instantly notified by email and prompted to take action.

Customize Your Invitation Email
We understand that each community is unique, and so should be the invitation to join. Do you have a favorite quote, saying, or a punchline you’ve been eager to use? Go ahead and send customized invitations to new members!
