Dear partners, we're moving at full-speed as we build out large new layers of the product. The team and I are all honestly super excited about what's coming next. This month there aren't that many changes in the core product, but we've delivered on some meaningful nice to haves and a bunch of fixes.
So it's a short update from me this month, but stay tuned for the next few 🙂
Better Login Settings
We've reworked our Settings -> SSO page into a proper Login page and consolidated a bunch of settings there. Now you can choose what logins you use: ours, social logins and/or an external login you already have somewhere in your system (and you can always redirect your members back via our session passthrough via url in this case).
If previously it was either/or, you can combine all of these settings and even see a preview of your login page!
More Admin Shortcuts
Now as an admin, you can delete all member data, unsubscribe them from all notifications and change their role and groups right from their member profile. Deletion and unsubscribing were also added to the member list controls.

Smaller Improvements
- A new flag in Welcome email configuration in Customization -> Emails, now you can decide what posts to include in your welcome email: pinned & most upvoted or only pinned.
- An API to add members to spaces (and we'll follow with Zapier events soon) - this is great when you're having optional spaces (Add New Members flag disabled) and what to add members to those on some external events, like course completion or item purchase.
- Better mentions UI - we improved invocation and also now prioritize people who already contributed to the post (authors and commenters), so you don't have to scroll or keep typing to find them. Pretty neat, huh?
- A nice onboarding checklist for new communities so you see what are the steps you need to make to properly set up your community.
- Searching for content in a space now filters results by this space and its nested spaces. Previously we were showing all results, as in our homepage search.
- We also added a number of members who haven't finished onboarding, in Members -> List header.
💡Pro-tip: these members have N/A in the list so you can ping them directly to ask them to finish!
Bugfixes
- Several email layout fixes
- Auto-remove link formatting on copy-paste so you can continue to type in normal text
- Remove text formatting on new paragraph (this is going into next week's release)
- Fixed rare cases of a wrong person in mentioned emails (correct recipient but the text was sometimes incorrect)
- User sync fixes in Thinkific affecting small % of imports in some cases
- Commenting widget configurator now showing all spaces in the dropdown
