Hey there PeerBoarders!
Fall is rolling in and the team here have been pretty hard at work as we approach a series of exciting feature updates and a little reorganization of the Admin Panel.
We've been gradually shifting our thinking and practices in terms of how we approach feature development and we've been moving the needle towards more and more workflow and value driven processes, and functions for your PeerBoard communities.
Admin Insights 📈
We all know that it's difficult to make decisions without really having a finger on the pulse of what's going on in your community. It's also challenging for community builders when you don't have a reference for how your community is evolving or performing in the long run. Finally, it can get pretty frustrating to not know who your champions are, or what content is best received by your community members.
So fasten your seatbelts, today we're launching the first layer of our Insights panel 🎉
We're starting with two pages: Activity and Content.
1. Insights: Activity
This first page covers all member-related information. It starts with registrations and active members. You can also change the time period for which you want to see the measurements: daily, weekly or monthly. This will affect both the charts and the tables.

This is followed by top contributors - and you can sort them by posts or comments created and upvotes received.

2. Insights: Content
The second page covers all things content-related. It starts with a chart of new posts and comments for a selected period.

And is followed by most popular posts and comments for the same time period.

More to come
This is just a beginning and we'll be adding more insights as we go. Now the infrastructure is in place, the components are live and it's going to take much less effort to add specific elements to the system. So check your insights and if there's something you really care about that's not there, please let us know in the comments!
Modules Reorganization 📍
In the past, as we've added features we've added corresponding pages to the Admin Panel in PeerBoard. As the number features we add is growing and as some features may be optional to use, we've decided to streamline how we organize them to provide you with a smoother and less cluttered dashboard.
This doesn't affect anything immediately except for the placement of some of those elements, but it enables us to launch new advanced functionalities and creates a neat place for them to live in the product.
Here are some affected pages from the Settings menu:
- Moderation - is now found in the Pre-moderation module
- Embed Code - is now found in the Code Embeds module
- Integrations - is now the Zapier module
What's cool is that if you don't use any of these or any future modules, they won't clutter your menu. When you activate a module, it'll add a nested menu item in Modules menu section for the modules you have active.

Stay tuned for new modules! ⌚
