That could drive growth and gain new customers in the short term. But for a SaaS business, ignoring regular and regular blogging every week, you may be overtaken by your competition after a while.
Most of we have paid the fee through AppSumo, but it's for a lifetime. You need lots, lots and lots more users paying monthly.
In addition to SEO & content marketing, affiliate programs also make an important contribution to the growth of SaaS businesses. Try it all with speed, when the investment and sales revenue on AppSumo is abundant.
In my current view:
Works in the form of a forum model: PeerBoard is providing the best support (well here based on the user experience and great interface).
Works under the same community model as Facebook group: Circle.so is best supporting.
Wish PeerBoard will grow and become # 1 SaaS on forum/community!
