Here we will share recipes how to integrate PeerBoard and Slack.
Assuming you already have a community on PeerBoard and Slack workplace, we provide Zapier template for several scenarios on how you can connect two via Zapier.
Here are the scenarios:
New post created on Peerboard -> Send message in Slack
This template is perfect for those:
- Who wants to notify the channel in Slack about new posts on Peerboard
- Who's an admin and wants to receive real-time notifications about new posts written in the community.
The result is: when the new post is created on PeerBoard, the message pops in the Slack channel. The preview contains the title, author, link, and category.
- Click on Template.
- Connect PeerBoard account via API token: PeerBoard -> Settings -> Hosting -> Reveal API Auth Token -> Copy. Paste in Zapier floating window.
- Set up trigger by choosing the PeerBoard community category.
- Connect Slack account and allow Zapier to access it.
- Choose Slack channel where you want message to pop.
- Turn on Zap

This template is perfect for those:
- Who wants to notify the channel in Slack about new members in the Peerboard.
- Who's an admin and wants to receive real-time notifications about new members in the community.
The result is: when the new member is registered or activated in the community on PeerBoard, the custom message pops in the Slack channel. The message is fully custom and can contain name and email.
- Click on Template.
