⚡ Customize Email Digest Frequency and Timing ⚡
We've added more flexibility with email digests to make sure your community receives emails with the most convenient frequency and at the right time. For that we added two sets of controls. One is for the members themselves, on our new Notifications page, allowing them to choose the frequency between none, daily and weekly.
And we also added admin-level controls for you to a) set the frequency defaults for all new members, b) set the time for the digests to be delivered. To change these settings, go to Customization -> Emails.
🤩 Redesigned feed and other UX improvements 🤩
We did a few things in the past couple months to enhance the main feed experience. Starting from replacing the trending/recent sections with our new/trending labels that can also show privacy information for protected areas. And also updating our pinned posts logic - now when you open the community for the first time, you see them as usual posts at the top.
But after you've read any, they fold into a smaller section as before. This gives more visibility to these important posts to the newcomers.
We also completely revamped our login and signup screens, making it a much more seamless and optimized experience. Our greeting unit also was updated to reflect the results of our survey from this post. And, finally, we reworked our member badges on many levels, making it easier to use and understand. 👩💻 Embed Code now available for WordPress, Shopify, and Alias setups 👩💻
Embed code used to be available only for the custom domain and SDK hosting setups until now. We have updated the logic powering it and that allowed us to lift the restrictions for all our plugins and also alias setups. So now you can alter the capabilities of your board by adding embedded analytics, support chats, and other favorite tools. Due to security limitations of peerboard.com hosting setup, communities hosted on peerboard.com/id still cannot embed code. To embed code on any other setups, go to Settings->Embed code.
Please note that only the script tag is supported at the moment.
📣 Moving from Categories to Spaces, step 1 📣
As you could've noticed, we renamed categories to 💫 Spaces 💫 across the whole product. This is the first step in our larger update of spaces logic to be gradually rolling out in the next months. So in anticipation of these changes and to make it less confusing and more explicit, we've landed on "Spaces" to highlight that this is more about smaller places to belong to and not just about content sections. Next step - enabling members to customize their spaces subscriptions, so stay tuned!
Also, speaking of spaces. We changed counting logic for private spaces in your favor. Now if your private subspace have the same set of groups as its parent, it won't be counted as a separate private space! So you can create a top-level space, make it private and add as many subspaces to it as needed - it will still be treated as one private space for the purposes of our plan restrictions. More private spaces to everybody on our paid plans!

- Added Korean localization.
- Fixed social logins issues by moving to redirects vs popups.
- Fixed the email change bug.
- Fixed the broken CSV export on Shopify.
- Fixed the missing posts in the community welcome emails.
