Hey folks, this is another of our monthly updates. While we're working on some heavy features, some of which are already in early testing (like our commenting widget and space subscriptions), we also shipped several great additions.
In this issue:
- Invite links! With groups and tracking.
- New developer APIs
- More moderation filters: posts with urls
- A bunch of fixes
1. Invite members on scale 🔗
Previously the only native way to invite members was via our invite by email flow. While this is great for sending personal invites to a small number of members, we became aware that it had some limitations when it comes to scale.
First and foremost, we want you to be able to easily invite people even if you don't know their emails - and this is a typical situation if you already have a Facebook group, a Subreddit or a group chat somewhere. Second, we set some strict limitations on the number of daily email invites to prevent instances of platform abuse by spammers.
Meet invite links
We've added a whole new page in the Members section of the Admin panel. On this page you can:
- Create new links
- Automatically assign groups for the members who use a specific link
- Manage your links and activate/deactivate them at will
- Monitor the number of registrations triggered by each of your links

2. New developer APIs 💻
We also continue to increase our API coverage for all the key product features because we know that some of our customers really care about automation. This will also help us to roll out a second version of our Zapier integration (packed with all the different ways to manage data) this summer, as well as more integrations in the near future.
Here's what's on the menu this time around:
3. More moderation filters: Posts with URLs 🕵️
Having post pre-moderation enabled is a great way to make sure only quality content gets into the member feed and digests. We added one more setting for more granular controls here.
In addition to fresh accounts and our profanity & keyword filters you can now also include posts with links. This is handy for example when somebody may post a link to a competing product/service and you'd like to vet it first.

4. Fixes ⚙️
- Infinite image upload fixes
- Performance improvements
